We are thrilled to hold the title of "Best Retirement Community" from last years Readers Choice Award! This year earning both awards makes our whole team proud! Cooking Classes with Chef Derrick
Held on Wednesday, January 25th at 2pm; Wednesday, March 28th at 2pm; Wednesday, May 23rd at 2pm; Wednesday, June 27th at 2pm in the Cafe.
3rd Annual Winter Valentine Bazaar:
Mark your calendars for our "3rd Annual Winter Valentine Bazaar" on Saturday, February 11th, 2012. This fun event is filled with vendors with items to purchase as well as an elaborate tasty bake sale. The event starts at 9:30am and ends at 1:00pm. The proceeds of the day go to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana. We are proud to say we raised over $1,500 for this well deserved not-for-profit organization last year.
Winter Stays
"Winter Stays" are an option for many! Winter time can be a difficult time with the threat of harsh weather and traveling limitations. Keep in mind, Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City offers "Winter Stays" (short term) to give families and their loved ones peace of mind. Please contact Stefanie Olson, Marketing Director for detailed information on how someone can benefit from this short-term option.
Alzheimer's support group - 3rd Wednesday of every month at 2pm
Receive education and support on Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. Monthly speakers on various topic to help engage problem solving techniques.
