Rittenhouse Senior Living of Middletown
announces its affiliation with Dr. Kirk E. Smith.
Rittenhouse Senior Living of Middletown is pleased to announce that it has appointed Dr. Kirk E. Smith as its Medical Director. Dr. Smith currently has a practice located in Middletown, Ohio specializing in geriatric medicine. He will bring his expertise and great bedside manner to the residents of Rittenhouse Senior Living. In his current practice, Dr. Smith specializes in Family and Geriatric Medicine and has been an advocate for seniors and their health issues for his entire medical career.
Dr. Smith attended Michigan State University and then went on to medical school at Ohio University College in Athens. He conducted his internship at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton and proceeded to his Residency at Mercy Hospital in Toledo. He currently holds staff privileges at Atrium Medical Center and Kettering Medical Center/Sycamore Hospital.
In his role as medical director he will visit on-site with the residents at Rittenhouse and provide guidance to the staff and coordinate services with residents, their families and other health care professionals as needed to meet the specific needs of each resident. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Smith as a resource to our Community and know that our residents will benefit from his care” says Laura Turco, Executive Director of Rittenhouse Senior Living of Middletown.
Rittenhouse Senior Living of Middletown was formerly known as McKnight Terrace. Rittenhouse Senior Living, a national provider of senior living communities is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Rittenhouse Senior Living purchased the community last fall as part of its expansion plan. “We look forward to continuing the tradition of excellent care at Rittenhouse” says Laura Turco and “we know that Dr. Smith will be a great partner in helping us provide the best care for the seniors of Middletown”.
